About us

We combine evidence-based methodologies with operational experience to deliver consultancy solutions to the NHS.

Our Team

Jeremy (Jez) Tozer

Founder and CEO

Jez founded the business in May 2017 following his frustrations with existing performance consultancy firms in the market, who he felt did not always adequately deliver value against the needs of the organisations he worked with.

As the architect of much of the Prism Improvement approach, Jez now has complete oversight of all programmes. Originally trained as a pharmacist, before moving into operational management, Jez has worked in all trust departments from Radiology through to A&E, from divisional manager level through to the executive board.

Over the course of the last 10 years, Jez has built his reputation as a market leading Interim Chief Operating Officer, specialising in emergency care turnaround in some of the most challenged trusts the country, including Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. His interim career culminated in the turnaround of Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust in the spring of 2016, who had been rated as the worst all-round NHS Trust in the country by CQC.

Peter Fry

Managing Director

Peter has 25+ years of experience in the NHS, moving up to Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer at a number of teaching and Shelford group hospitals, including Kings College NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust, Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust and Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Peter, therefore, brings a wealth of experience as a well seasoned operational leader in the NHS, with a strong belief in the link between operational rigour and improvement methodolgies.

Peter has been involved with Prism since 2018, during our programme at Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and is now responsible for leading the successful implementation of our improvement programmes.

Barney Pascall

Director

Barney joined Prism at it’s inception in 2017 and has been responsible for the operational management of the business, as well as developing our model for improvement in Urgent & Emergency Care.

Prior to this, Barney trained as an Exercise Physiologist before joining a start-up business CP+R, a recovery and rehabilitation centre based on Harley Street. As Head of Clinical Services he played a pivotal role in growing the business from a headcount of two through to over thirty during the course of six years.
